Hope Boarding Facility
In recognition of the difficulty of access to education available to families of provincial Christian Workers in Cambodia, Hope offers a boarding home facility to students aged 11 years and older.
The Boarding Home is a two storey residence located in a quiet street within 2km of the school. The spacious home offers a communal living area and outdoor garden for students to enjoy. Boys and girls are housed on separate levels in shared rooms with other students of similar age. The boarding home is guarded 24hrs.
The Boarding Home Parents provide a Christian family atmosphere and are commited to the welfare of each student. They work in conjunction with the student's family and teachers to provide pastoral and educational support for the children in their care. There are set times for homework and participation in the wider life of the boarding home.
Informal opportunities are provided for the students to get to know each other and social activities sought where they can invite their friends. Students are encouraged to join a local church and to participate in other opportunities for personal spiritual growth such as the local Christian youth group.
