Admissions Procedure
If you would like to apply for a place for your child(ren) at Hope please follow the steps outlined under the heading 'How to Apply'.
Before you submit an application please aquaint yourself with the School Fee Schedule.
How to Apply
To apply for a place at Hope please provide the following for each child:
- a completed application form,
- a passport photo,
- a photocopy of the passport photo page,
- the latest school reports, and
- an application fee of $50
Should your child hold English as a second language then it will be necessary for your child to site an ESL test. These are done at regular intervals to assess your childs progress and cost $10 each. The ESL test comprises of English writing, speaking, listening and reading skill components.
The Hope Admissions Committee meet bi-weekly to review any current vacancies and to look at new applications.
You will be notified of the result of the application.
When an application is accepted you have one month to confirm that you accept the offer. This is done by paying the required deposit, and confirming the date your child will start at Hope. If your child fails to start school within two months of the confirmed date, you will forfeit the deposit and be required to pay this amount again. Your application will be reconsidered by the Admissions Committee. To hold the place you are required to pay full tuition fees from the date you confirmed with Hope, or the place will be given to another eligible student.
Should a place not be available your child will be placed on a waiting list according to the Admissions Policy. You will then be contacted when a place for your child becomes available. If the applicant already has siblings at the school their application will move up the waiting list.
